Dragon’s Den star divorces third husband

1 min read

Former Dragon’s Den panellist Hilary Devey has divorced her third husband, saying ‘I am very happy’..

The 55 year-old businesswoman ended her relationship with 47 year-old property developer Phil Childs after less than two years of marriage. Both have cited unreasonable behaviour’ as the reason for the split. The divorce has now been registered at the High Court.

Devey confirmed the split on Twitter, telling followers:

“As the papers have reported on my divorce today let me just say I am very happy at last – chase the money and it runs away xxx”

Speaking about the initial split last year, the Bolton-born logistics millionaire was less upbeat, saying:

“It’s bloody hard knowing a third relationship has gone down the pan. I feel hurt, angry and a little bit bewildered because I can’t seem to get it right with men.”

Devey will feature in a new Channel 4 series called The Intern, to be screened later this year.
