Dragon’s den home up for sale after Duncan Bannatyne’s divorce

1 min read

Entrepreneur and Dragons Den star Duncan Bannatyne has put his home up for sale following his recent divorce.

Bannatyne, 64, is selling up after the breakdown of his marriage with second wife Joanne McCue. The couple married in November 2006 and separated in December 2011. They had two children together.

The luxury five bedroom home on the Wynard development in County Durham is on market for £875,000, according to media reports.

The health club magnate said he is selling the property in order to move on with his life after the separation:

“I decided to sell as I am looking to start a new chapter in my life.”

Bannatyne confirmed that his divorce was complete on Twitter in January, tweeting:

“I just received my Decree Absolute by email, isn’t that nice?”
