Approach

Ethan understands that litigation, or even the prospect of litigation, may be very stressful and can take a significant emotional toll on clients. His primary concern is to provide them with clear, strategic legal advice and ongoing support so that they feel guided and supported throughout what could otherwise be an overwhelming process. His principal aim is to find pragmatic solutions that avoid the need for long-running, acrimonious litigation. However, if a fair compromise cannot be agreed then Ethan will help clients robustly litigate their cases to achieve the best possible outcome. His experience across both financial and children matters allows him to take a holistic approach to family breakdown, ensuring all aspects of his clients’ cases are handled with sensitivity and expertise.

Training and experience

After beginning his professional life in business and finance, Ethan commenced his career in family law at one of the country’s premier firms working on a range of finance and children cases. He went on to qualify as a barrister, practising at one of the top family law chambers in London before joining Stowe Family Law as a partner. His rare combination of financial experience and legal expertise enables him to provide comprehensive guidance through complex family matters.
