Lucy Butterfield

Training & employment

Lucy is currently studying with CILEx Law School and has completed her Level 3 Certificate in Law and Practice in Family Law. Lucy is currently working towards the last few exams in her Level 3 Diploma in Law and Practice, in which she aspires to continue her studies and qualify as a Chartered Legal Executive.

Lucy has previously worked for the Crown Prosecution Service in 2014, in which she studied with CILEx Law school and gained a Certificate in Criminal Prosecution.

Lucy moved to Thurrock Council and worked within the Children Safeguarding department.

She then started her career in Family Law at Hill & Abbott Solicitors in Chelmsford, which then lead to her working for Farrer & Co LLP in Holborn for 2 and a half years.

Lucy joined Stowe Family Law’s Chelmsford team as a Legal Assistant in 2022.

She was promoted to Paralegal in November 2022.

Outside of work

Lucy enjoys spending time with family and friends, baking, reading and exploring the countryside.
