Rebecca Stewart

Specialisms

Rebecca has experience in all areas of family law including divorce, cohabitation, pre-nups, TOLATA, and children act proceedings. She has particular passion lies in financial proceedings and children act proceedings. She is an Accredited Resolution member and so adheres to the Code of Conduct. She previously was the Chair of Yres, guiding and assisting other young lawyers and has now been allocated as Training Officer. Assisting people is Rebecca’s passion and so volunteers at her local CAB.

Approach

Although Rebecca takes a non-confrontational approach to matters where possible, she also recognises when a court timetable is needed and is confident in representing clients in court and taking a robust stance helping clients reach their goal in the most cost-effective way.

Training and experience

Rebecca trained in a small, niche boutique firm having begun her legal journey in 2012. She successfully qualified as a Fellow in 2018, moving on to become an Associate. Rebecca joined Stowe’s St Albans office in August 2024.
